Together with hospitality partner Levy Europe, FC Utrecht is investing in a renewed and future-proof food and beverage experience for supporters. The partnership, which had previously been premium hospitality, is now being extended to include public catering, giving Levy Europe responsibility for the full operation of Stadion Galgenwaard.

Supporters can look forward to upgraded food and beverage outlets, a wider range of products, a faster ordering and service process, and a new digital deposit system for reusable cups. These improvements reflect the shared ambition of FC Utrecht and Levy Europe to further enhance the matchday experience at Stadion Galgenwaard.

The first home match provided valuable insights into the new technology and the new teams running the food and beverage outlets. The experiences from this match, together with feedback from supporters, are being used to further optimise processes ahead of the next home match.

Upgraded food and beverage outlets

Several locations throughout the stadium have been given a new look and an improved layout, allowing supporters to be served more quickly and conveniently.

A number of food and beverage outlets now also offer selected products via self-service. This makes service more efficient and helps reduce waiting times during busy periods. All points of sale are card-only.

A new digital deposit system for reusable cups has also been introduced. Via Borro, supporters can manage their cup deposit digitally, making the return process easier and faster.

Expanded product range

The food and beverage offering throughout the stadium is also being renewed and expanded. FC Utrecht recently switched to Coca-Cola as its Official Supplier. New products have also been added to the range, including chips and loaded fries.

“When we started this partnership with Levy, our ambition was to take the food and beverage experience to the next level. In Levy, we have found a strong partner to help us achieve that. Levy’s experience at major sporting events in other countries, combined with FC Utrecht’s knowledge of our club and our supporters, provides a strong foundation for the continued development of food and beverage services at Stadion Galgenwaard.

“With the expansion of our partnership, we are taking the next step. Levy is now active across public catering, hospitality and non-matchday operations. This creates a partnership in which we can continue to invest together in the overall experience at Stadion Galgenwaard.”

— Edo Keuning, FC Utrecht Managing Director

"Building on the strong partnership we have established at Stadion Galgenwaard, we are delighted to expand our services to now include public catering alongside the premium hospitality experience. We know the venue and its supporters well and look forward to bringing that experience to all supporters on every matchday.

"This makes Stadion Galgenwaard our first full-service catering venue in the Netherlands, and we're excited by what that milestone represents for our partnership with FC Utrecht.

“Our focus is on providing more choice, efficient service and practical innovations that make matchdays easier and more enjoyable for supporters. The new digital deposit system for reusable cups, developed in partnership with Borro, is a great example of this."

"Our partnership continues to grow, with a shared focus on continuously improving the matchday experience for FC Utrecht supporters."
