Levy UK + Ireland became the prestigious Contract Caterer of the Year, which recognised its partnership approach and dedicated teams. The organisation has made the transition out of lockdown to deliver exceptional services, with a focus on sustainability and this was especially brought to life as it successfully delivered food at COP26 in 2021.

Like many hospitality sectors, Levy UK + I, was affected by the pandemic. A brand renowned for putting on legendary events and experiences was forced into silence throughout 2020 and the early parts of 2021. Levy was one of the only major events caterers to come out of the pandemic to be selected to run pilot events. Levy worked with The Kia Oval in June 2020 to run this event, only to be closed again a few months later. Levy also hosted the first Premier League games with reduced crowds at Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea in November 2020 - this was again short-lived, with lockdown reinstated only a week later.

In these short periods, Levy implemented new health and safety measures to keep its customers, team, and clients safe. Levy then took these learnings to ensure that when the world was ready to open again, it would be ready to rise and turn levels up to eleven again.

Despite this lack of events, Levy, under the steer of Jon Davies, managed to keep the majority of its staff by tapping into Constellation and parent company, Compass UK & Ireland. Levy also achieved 100% client retention throughout the pandemic and secured new contracts with the National Theatre, Watford FC, Nottingham Forest FC, and Newbury Racecourse.

It is fair to say that 2020/2021 has been one of Levy's most successful years and also Levy's most challenging.

A huge thank you to our teams, venues and partners who made this possible!
